With Murat at Pizzo in 1815

Just published a short article which might be of interest to those curious about Murat's final days:



The officer in question was a Corsican who served in Murat's mounted velites and Guard Hussars. Starting to think that the Corsicans were like the Swiss in that they served in many of Europe's armies.

Interesting according to Lanfranchi Murat had just the intention to join up with his family, hm, why then did he have such a flotilla around with him, originally 250 people. Why did you come to the conclusion that a fate like that of Ney would lie ahead of him?
