This excellent uniform study contains Rousselot paintings that are not in the famous uniform plates and were obtained with the permission of the famous Anne Brown collection at Brown University.
The paintings cover four cavalry regiments of the Imperial Guard: The Grenadiers a Cheval, the Dragoons, the Chasseurs a Cheval, and the 1st (Polish) Lancer Regiment.
The volume is in large format and the text by Edward Ryan is authoritative and informative.
