Noted historian Christopher Duffy died recently. He is best known for his research into the battle of Culloden and the Seven Years War. However he wrote a books on Borodino and Austerlitz, as well as Eagles over the Alps: Suvorov in Italy and Switzerland, 1799. He will be missed.
