Interesting thesis. While the majority of those who like to read military history might actually ignore such battles as Cowpens, Plattsburg, and Vittoria, those with an interest in the War of the Revolution, the War of 1812, and the war in the Spanish peninsula are undoubtedly familiar with them, many times intimately familiar with them and study them in detail.
