Westphalian cuirassier valises
Can anyone help me with the shape of the valise used by Westphalian cuirassiers? The generally seem to be depicted as round but WJ Rawkins states they were square. Is there a definitive answer?

As the "Prince of Essling", I have taken another look at "The Westphalian Army in the Napoleonic Wars 1807-1813" by Peter Bunde, Markus Gaertner & Thomas Hemman - page 287 shows a square valise for the years 1808-1810; page 293 shows a round valise for the years 1810-1812, and further plates show round for 1813.
