Tauberbischofsheim French Austrian cavalry combat?

hello when this scene took place, it seems to concern the French 2e Hussards against Austrian Hussars in this german city

I found that the 2e Hussards was around Burg Eberach in august 1796 at only 60 km but not a word about this german place

Most likely to withdraw to is Rheinbischofsheim. It is in Germany 10 km northeast of Kehl. It was called Bischofsheim zum Steg.
