Wellington or Blucher? Who defeated Napoleon
The last to defeat the French emperor on the battlefield were Gebhard Leberecht von Blucher, 73-year-old Prussian field marshal and Napoleon's 46-year-old 1st Duke Wellington, British field marshal Arthur Wellesley.

Ahh, old “cone heid”. Glaswegians who quote it as an expression of anti-English sentiment are somewhat surprised when they discover where he was actually born.
Suspect Glaswegians are closet Blucher fans - this is a local tradition.
I cannot stand such rubbish any longer
When the 46-year-old Blucher became a colonel of the "black hussars" and after that he fought with the French almost without interruptions
Is there any author ready to do his homework without blurbing fantasies, Blücher became colonel of Hussaren Regiment Nr. 8 in 1794 - it had red uniforms, so to speak red hussars, but no of course he had to be a colonel of the black Prussian hussars, well the author erred about 50 years when the regiment was known as Der ganze Tod - and had indeed black uniforms, which were however changed to red in about 1764.
