Excellent, thanks for sharing this. For those who have yet to read Michael Broers "Napoleon's Other War - bandits, rebels and their pursuers in the Age of Revolutions" I thoroughly recomend it. This isn't the story of the big armies and battles, but the rather smaller actors, usually on the periphery - eg the Balkans, South America - but also sometimes surprisingly close to home in the French Alps or the forests of Germany.
