Does anyone know if the officers wore a sash with their field uniform? If so, what color would it be?I have checked Rawkins and he says only the regimental colonel did.Thanks!Bob

I think you remember the Nassau troops under dutch reign in 1815 when thinking about a sash - these officers wore an orange sash, indeed.
But the Nassau troops of the "Rheinbund" era didn't have a sash, their officer's distinction had been a gorget similar to the french model.
The Knötel plate shows an officer of the 2nd regiment 1810 with this gorget:
