Does anyone know if Marc Antoine Joseph Frédéric PUTON left any writings (memoirs, souvenirs, letters, diaries)? He sounds like an interesting character. From sergeant to baron in two decades, blind in one eye. I'm hoping some old periodical has something of his, ideally from the period 1797 to 1800 when he was with Humbert?
