Can anyone recommend some reading material that might give insight into the political hand wringing that when on in Prusdia during the 1809 campaign? Some leading Prussian figures wanted to join Austria, but FW waivered.

There is some discussion in "Thunder on the Danube" but you may also look at the Consortium on the Revolutionary Era selected papers from 2002 for a panel on Prussian policy during the period.
