I have recently tried to look up an Orbat in the Nafziger Collection. I have the complete index of George Nafziger’s Orbats. My bookmarked link took me to the CARL website, but when I put the reference in it said 404 Page Not Found. I have never had this problem before. Can anyone advise me what to do to view the Orbats.

Hi Ian,
Many thanks for that very useful link.

Some kind soul has packed the nearly 8,000 items together by century which makes the OOBs so much easier to download. The link to this resource is Nafziger Collection (alternatewars.com)
Hi Rob,
Many thanks. That worked, but I had to copy and paste the link, rather than simply click on it.

Well, I found it. https://cgsc.contentdm.oclc.org/digital/collection/p15040coll6 You see a button in the centre: 'Nafziger Finding Aid' That bring up a list with a search field at top left.
Hi Andreas,
Many thanks. However my interests are wider than Napoleonic and the particular Orbat which I wanted to look at is that for the Pragmatic (British/Hanoverian/Austrian) Army at the Battle of Dettingen in 1743. The Nafziger reference is 743FAA.

Nafziger's orbats for 1792-1815 can be viewed on the Napoleon Series - https://www.napoleon-series.org/resources/the-nafziger-collection-of-napoleonic-orders-of-battle/.
I hope this helps,
Andreas
