Junk shop find - I'd like to repaint these chaps better than the last bloke did. Any ideas what uniform they should be wearing?

The bases also make them pretty useless as doorstops. The one on your link has a solid base which will bring some weight with it. Mine site on hollow bases. I suspect they're purely ornamental. Fun, though.
