Hello everyone,
I am looking for any information on 1e Porte-Aigle Claude Théodore Boutillier of the 105e Ligne and his career. Sadly, Base Leonore only has one document on him and is very little help.
Below shows that on 23 April 1809 he was made Baron and awarded 4000 Francs. Can anyone give any context to why he was made Baron. The XB file for 1809 mentions nothing, and I do not have the YB file for the regiment at this moment. Below is the document I refered to above.
Thank you for your help,
Michael
Hello, I was wondering why you were looking for information on him. I am one of his descendants. :)
Michael,
unfortunately I have no info about the regiment he served in with the rank of chef de bataillon.
This was his coat of arms...
Hello Michael,
unfortunately I can not add to your question why he was awarded the title of baron d'empire but I have some infos concerning his nobility.
His nobility patent was confirmed on November 2nd, 1810. At that time he was captain of the 105th RI de Ligne. The annual rent of 4000 Francs was confirmed on Aug 15th 1809 and was taken from hanoverian estates.
At the end of the empire he held the rank of chef de bataillon.
Thank you Tom!
This is what I have found so far.
