Helion & Company are proud to announce the 2020 From Reason to Revolution Conference. This year's conference will focus on warfare in the age of Napoleon, looking at aspects of the armies of both sides and their experiences on campaign and in battle. I shall be along - just unfortunate that the route from south Scotland to Derby is rather round-about as the Pennines are in the way!

@Kevin F. Kiley The Peak District is truly beautiful. It is our first National Park and came about through a mass tresspass on Kinderscout. Walking the Pennine Way is a right of passage for many. I must admit to have frequented the pubs of Edale and The Snake Pass Inn on occasion.
But yes, unfortunately it is in the way!

Indeed, I did a bit rock climbing there.
I have little excuse, being just along the Brian Clough Way in Nottingham!
