Hello, I am looking for an account describing Napoleon at Rochefort in 1815 by someone called Pickôme. It is cited as being in the Nouvelle revue rétrospective (no date!), and he is supposed to be a sous-commissaire sent to that port. But I haven't been able to pin it down.
There are quite a few good accounts out there by Lallemand, Savary, Jourdan, Pelletreau and Bonnau, but this one has eluded me.
Thanks for any help.
Colleagues. A letter from Pickome is published in the Revue des documents historiques of 1875 (pp. 74 to 77). Phew, and thanks for your earlier help!

There certainly is a sous-commissaire named (Jacques-Marie) Pickome. He can be found in various Etats. The Etat général de la Marine of 1813 has him at Anvers, the Almanach Royal of 1814-15 at Rochefort, the Etat général de la Marine of 1816 at Sables d'Olonnes.
Second, I searched the volumes of the "Nouvelle Revue Rétrospective" kept in the Bibliothèque Nationale. I found the accounts by Jourdan, Bonneau, Pelletreau, and Lallemand, but I did not find any account by this Pickome (perhaps I missed it?). Could you state more precisely who has cited the account as being in the Nouvelle revue rétrospective?
