I am offering the first two of six parts of my book, printed in July 2024. This takes the reader from Bernadotte's childhood to army life, pre- and post-Revolutionary France. Parts three to six cover the Napoleon era and the pair's legacies, finally the united kingdoms of Sweden and Norway.
