Interesting ramble of Ed Coss about the values and limitations not only of board gaming but also wargaming in general. For me it boils down on the set of rules and interaction with other players. People will play with different motivations - just for the fun of gaming or to learn some interesting aspects about warfare, a bit like re - enactment.
The last ten minutes - are the most interesting in my view, when Ed Coss used a wargame to demonstrate how history books could be written.
