Hi Loïc Well per all the controversy on TMP_ I still like to see new information, even if I don't agree with some of the conclusions drawn from the sometimes sparse info available and/ or biased based criteria opined.
So these titles remain on my list to buy, as I've pretty much halted painting my French models, new and 'upgrades/ revisions' from the 1990s that look a bit sad in places.
However I'm glad to see that the old dominant 'regime' of decree and done has been largely broken down, not so easy for model manufacturers though! Remember all the full dress figurines in old Uniformes and the like!

Download of third volume Grouvel's emigré troops
Today I published the final and third volume of Grouvel's major work about the french emigré troops in foreign services.
After the units in british and dutch service and the army of Condé this volume covers the armies of the Princes' and Bourbon's armies as well as units in austrian, sarde, spanish and swedish services.
This volume is also packed with many plates and sketches done by Louis de Beaufort.

All three volumes went to the Kunstbibliothek Berlin (owner of the famous Lipperheide collection) as a donation ... I need more space in my shelves 😎

"We Have to Record the Downfall of Tyranny": The London Times Perspective on Napoleon Bonaparte's Invasion of Russia aims to illustrate how The London Times interpreted and reported on Napoleon's 1812 invasion of Russia. This thesis explains how England feared its grip on Europe was slipping away due to a French takeover of the continent. This work details the English struggle in order to provide a broader analysis through a newspaper of how nations indirectly involved in the Napoleonic wars understood the conflict.
